About Catherine Lenox, DVM, DACVIM (Nutrition)
Catherine Lenox, DVM, DACVIM (Nutrition), is a board-certified veterinary nutritionist, who works as the Senior Specialist of Technical Publications and Education at the Purina Institute in St. Louis. Prior to working at Purina, Dr. Lenox led a nutrition service at a large specialty veterinary hospital in Houston. She is passionate about helping others to understand nutrition in a practical way and has taught nutrition education courses at veterinary schools in the U.S. and Canada. Dr. Lenox also is a frequent speaker at veterinary conferences in the U.S. and abroad. She received her veterinary degree from Duke University and then completed a small-animal medicine and surgery internship at Colorado State University and a residency in small-animal veterinary nutrition at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine.
