Purina Pro Club is a robust program with many features and benefits. To support our members effectively, we have compiled the most frequently asked questions. Here, you will find everything you need to know about membership, rewards, program benefits, eligibility criteria, and more.
About Pro Club
Pro Club rewards you for buying eligible Purina products. You can earn points by uploading receipts that contain these products and redeem your points for a wide selection of items, including Visa prepaid cards, gift cards and merchandise.
There are two paths to eligibility for Pro Club Rewards. You must meet at least one set of requirements below to qualify.
- Breed at least one litter of puppies or kittens per year.
- Actively participate in dog or cat-related events and activities AND own at least five dogs or cats.

Earning Points
There are four ways to earn Pro Club points: Purchasing eligible Purina products, completing your member profile, new member referrals, or client product referrals through the Purina Welcome Experience.
As a Pro Club member, you earn 10 points on every $1 spent on eligible Purina products. Eligible products include:

You can upload a receipt for Pro Club Rewards here. Follow these tips to ensure a successful upload:
- Capture a clear photo of your receipt or upload it from your device. You can upload up to three images per receipt to capture all required information.
- Make sure your receipt includes the required information:
a. Retailer name
b. Date of purchase
c. Purina product(s) purchased
d. Price of Purina product(s) - Upload your receipt within 6 months of the purchase date.
When you upload a receipt that includes eligible Purina products, you will earn 10 points for every $1 spent.
Yes, we accept both in-store and online receipts. For online receipts, make sure that you are only uploading the receipt that confirms shipment. We do not accept email confirmations of the order prior to shipment.
Yes, we accept invoices that may include products from multiple purchase dates. Points will only be awarded for purchases made within 6 months from the purchase date. Any purchases older than 6 months will not receive points.
Yes, Pro Club points expire on the last day of the same month 1 year from the day they were earned. For example, if you earn 100 points on a receipt submitted on January 1, 2026, those 100 points will expire on January 31, 2027. As you redeem points, the expiration date gets pushed back accordingly to the earliest points earned and not yet redeemed.
No, there is not a limit on how many points you can earn.
Rewards
Navigate to the Rewards Catalog from your Pro Club account homepage or through the navigation pane tied to your account name in the top right corner of your screen. Within the Rewards Catalog page, you can filter the list of rewards by sorting, product type, and point range. You are also able to search with key words in the search bar. Proceed by selecting your favorite reward item and click on the product name or image to view additional reward details. If you want to go straight to the redemption process, click “Redeem” to navigate directly to the ordering process screens for checkout. Enter the requested information for the required reward delivery method (if not already populated) and click “Place Your Order.” At the bottom of the Reward Catalog pages, you will see your account Point Summary, with total points earned, redeemed, and still available.
We have a wide selection of great rewards available for point redemption, including Visa prepaid cards, physical and eGift cards, and exclusive merchandise. Check back often, as we regularly add to the catalog.
All reward redemptions are final.
Puppy Kits
Only breeders are eligible for ordering puppy kits to be distributed to their clients. You must provide proof of breeder status and complete your profile with how many puppies you expect to produce annually.
A valid AKC or USDA registration number are both sufficient proof of breeder status. Other litter validation, like a recent litter registration from another registry or a recent vet bill showing services received for a litter also works.
We offer three different puppy kit options, including Pro Plan Puppy, Puppy Chow, and Purina ONE Puppy.
Each puppy kit includes a folder that can help a new puppy owner keep all important pet-related information contained and organized in one location. It also contains important resources: Purina product and nutritional information, a Purina product discount, and access to the “A Lifetime of Wellness” eBook. A coupon to use towards a small bag of food, and a fillable sample food bag are also included.
Navigate to the Puppy Kit page from your Breeder Toolkit page or through the navigation pane tied to your account name in the top right corner of your screen. If the puppies you produce annually have changed or have not been entered, navigate down to the Puppy Kit Eligibility section of the page and to the left you will see a white box named “Current Puppies.” Click “Update in Profile” and this will allow you to update your annual number of puppies. If you only need to submit breeder proof, that can be done on the Puppy Kit page directly. Once all required information is submitted, click “Order Puppy Kit” to proceed to the puppy kit checkout. On the checkout page, select which puppy kit you would like to order from the drop-down. There are three puppy kit options available – Purina Pro Plan, Purina ONE, and Purina Puppy Chow. Input your order quantity and delivery information and place your order. At the bottom of the Puppy Kit checkout, you can view your Order History with total kits available, ordered, and remaining.
Yes, the number of puppy kits you can order is limited to the number of puppies you produce annually, up to a maximum of 100 kits per year.

Purina Welcome Experience Referral Tool
Only breeders are eligible to participate in the Purina Welcome Experience Referral Tool.
This is entirely up to you. Each link is specific to one Pro Plan formula, and you can distribute the same link as many times as you want. You are free to create, distribute and organize your product referral links as you see fit.
Each product referral link you create is saved to your personal dashboard. The dashboard keeps track of link names, creation dates, and client interaction, including the number of Purina accounts created and purchases made from each link.
Yes, you can earn 600 Pro Club bonus points when your client makes their first Purina purchase using your referral link.
We will add Pro Club bonus points from Purina Welcome Experience product referrals to member accounts every week. They will show up in your Point History.
Yes, breeder affiliate marketing program requires specific language to be shared at time of referral. Please reference precise language requirement here.
Pro Plan Grant Program
Not for Profit National Breed Clubs affiliated with registries such as AKC and UKC or 501(c)3 non-profit organizations whose primary function is to promote, protect, and preserve specific dog breeds are eligible to participate.
Visit PurinaProClub.com/GrantProgram to submit an application. For each calendar year, applications open in June and close in September.
The Purina Parent Club Partnership (PPCP) Program is discontinued as of December 31, 2025. Pro Plan is proud to continue supporting canine health through the new Pro Plan Grant Program and other ongoing initiatives.
