GCH HiTimes What The Inferno, a 3-year-old male Pomeranian, won three Bests in Show at the High Desert Cluster. Bred by Joan and Ashley Carcasole, “Danny” swept both Rio Grande Kennel Club Dog Shows and one of two shows held by the Coronado Kennel Club. “Beckett,” the nearly 5-year-old male Brittany, captured Best in Show at the Coronado Kennel Club Dog Show. Currently the No. 4 dog in the country, GCH Rainbow Splash’s Ruggedly Handsome was bred by Elud Archuleta-Cressler and Kathy Hogan, who co-owns Beckett with Carolee Douglas, Jim & Alisa Andras, and Amanda Cone. A 4-year-old Australian Shepard bitch called “Cameo” took Best in Show at the first of two shows held by the Mid-Continent Kennel Club. GCH Seacrest’s I’m Not What You Think kicked off the first day of the cluster by winning Best in Show at the San Fernando Kennel Club Dog Show. Called “Dexter,” the 4-year-old male Newfoundland was bred by Debra and Danielle Nelson, who co-own the dog with Joyce Taylor. Dexter is handled by Lizzie Jordan-Nelson and is fed Purina® Pro Plan® FOCUS Sensitive Skin & Stomach Formula.

Mississippi Valley & Missouri Rhineland Kennel Club Dog Shows

Winning the first two Bests in Show at the Mississippi Valley Kennel Club was “Teller,” a 6 ½-year-old male English Setter. GCH Stargaze’r ‘N Wingfield Wait Wait Don’t Tell is handled by owner Eileen Hackett, who co-bred Teller with Patricia Skol, Lois Biedron and Kate Hanlon. He also is co-owned by Don and Pat Coller. Teller, who currently is ranked No. 8 in all-breed competition, is fed Purina® Pro Plan® SPORT Performance 30/20 Chicken & Rice Formula.
The third Best in Show was captured by an English Toy Spaniel, CH Xela’s E.T. Phone Home. Handled by breeder-owner Stephanie Hill, the 2 ½-year-old male called “Elliott” won the Missouri Rhineland Kennel Club Dog Show. Elliott was co-bred by Sandra Jones, Jamie Hubbard and Alexandra Romero, who co-owns him with Andrew Romero and Michael Hill. “Rumor,” the current No.1 dog in the country, also won Best in Show from the Missouri Rhineland Kennel Club. The 3 ½-year-old German Shepherd Dog bitch, GCH Lockenhaus’ Rumor Has It V Kenlyn, is handled by breeder-owner Kent Boyles. She was co-bred by Pamela McElheney and is co-owned by Deborah Stern, Pamela Buckles and Pat Dukeman. Rumor is powered by Purina®Pro Plan® SPORT Performance 30/20 Chicken & Rice Formula.
