The No. 1 Berger Picard in the country, BIS/BISS GCH Eclipse’s One N’ Only, befittingly named for being the only female in her litter, has earned one-and-only status in the show ring as well.
A classic beauty, Multi-BIS/BISS GCH Sunlit’s Queen of Everything, the No. 1 Afghan Hound bitch, has exceeded breeder-owner-handler Tara M. Richardson’s dreams, most notably by winning Best of Breed at the Afghan Hound Club of Greater Columbus (Ohio) specialty show that was part of this year’s Afghan Hound World Congress.

Crufts Kennel Club Dog Show
March 5-8, 2015
Birmingham, England

On the eve of her retirement, a 5 ½-year-old Scottish Terrier called “Knopa” won Crufts, the largest all-breed dog show in the world. GCH McVan’s To Russia With Love, the No. 1 Scottie in 2013 and 2014, was bred by Vandra Huber and Michael Krolewski. Owned by Marina Khenkina and handled by Rebecca Cross, Knopa is fueled by Purina® Pro Plan® FOCUS Sensitive Skin & Stomach Formula.

Kicking off the four-day cluster with a win at the Plum Creek Kennel Club of Colorado Dog Show was “Beckett,” a 4 ½-year-old male Brittany presented by professional handler Clint Livingston. GCH Rainbow Splash’s Ruggedly Handsome is owned by Carolee Douglas, Jim and Alisa Andras, Amanda Cone and Kathy Hogan, who co-bred the dog with Elud Archuletta. Currently the No. 3 dog in the country, Beckett is fed Purina® Pro Plan® SPORT Performance 30/20 Chicken & Rice Formula.

Border Collie Society of America (BCSA) National Specialty Sept. 2-6, 2015 Purina Event Center, Gray Summit, Missouri

The bright TV lights during “The National Dog Show Presented by Purina” didn’t outshine “Gia,” a 4-year-old blue brindle female Greyhound. Handled by pro handler Rindi Gaudet, Multi-BIS/Multi-RBIS Brazilian, PANAM, Int, FCI, GCH GrandCru Giaconda CGC dazzled the crowd and judge James Reynolds to earn Best in Show and become the sixth consecutive Purina® Pro Plan®-fueled National Dog Show winner.

“Gia has so much breed type. Her head, neck and expression are beautiful,” Reynolds said. “She is a good galloping hound, as a Greyhound should be.”

Lone Star State Classic Dog Shows
Dec. 5-7, 2014
Dallas, TX

The first Best in Show of the three-day cluster went to GCH TullyBloom’s Classified Credentials, the current No. 1 West Highland White Terrier in the country, and handler Alfonso Escobedo at the Greater Collin Kennel Club Dog Show. “CC” is a 3 ½-year-old bitch who was co-bred by owners Paula and Charles Cohen with Judith White.
