Purina Pro Plan-fed dogs took top honors at the 2018 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, winning Best in Show and all the Group Firsts. More than 2,800 dogs competed at the prestigious dog show, which aired live to millions of viewers worldwide.
Animal digest is often considered a substandard pet food ingredient. In some cases, this is because the word “digest” is mistakenly thought to describe the contents of the digestive tract. 
A 2-year-old Pekingese, GCH Palacegarden Malachy, handled by owner David Fitzpatrick, stood out with his friendly, graceful ways to win the 2010 Pro Plan Champions Cup. The No. 2 all-breed dog and No. 1 Toy dog, "Malachy" finished the year more than 100 points ahead of the second-place finisher.

A Smooth Dachshund called “Jana” captured her sixth Best in Show in April, making the 2-year-old the top Best in Show winning Smooth bitch in breed history.
A rising star in her breed, a regal 2-year-old Great Dane called “Pandora” captured two major awards this October at the 2015 Great Dane Club of America National Specialty in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
The award-winning Bloodhound called “Nathan” (Multi-BIS/Multi-BISS GCH Flessner’s International S’cess, MT) made waves last fall when he captured Best in Show, and America’s heart, at the 2014 “The National Dog Show Presented by Purina.”
The No. 1 Berger Picard in the country, BIS/BISS GCH Eclipse’s One N’ Only, befittingly named for being the only female in her litter, has earned one-and-only status in the show ring as well.
A classic beauty, Multi-BIS/BISS GCH Sunlit’s Queen of Everything, the No. 1 Afghan Hound bitch, has exceeded breeder-owner-handler Tara M. Richardson’s dreams, most notably by winning Best of Breed at the Afghan Hound Club of Greater Columbus (Ohio) specialty show that was part of this year’s Afghan Hound World Congress.
