As Brand Manager with the Breeder Enthusiast Marketing Team, Jim Allen is responsible for leading marketing strategy as well as communications to consumers and sporting dog enthusiasts. Jim graduated from Lindenwood University with a master’s degree in business administration after completing his undergraduate degree in family economics and management, with an emphasis in consumer affairs, from the University of Missouri – Columbia. Jim joined Purina in 1990 and has worked in various roles throughout the organization including Office of Consumer Affairs, Brand
ed Marketing and Pets for People.
Jim balances his love for his work with his dedication to his two daughters and their dog Sparky, a miniature schnauzer. He enjoys canine competitions from conformation dog shows to sporting dog competitions, and is especially passionate about the Pro Plan Incredible Dog Challenge, which he has led for more than a decade.
